The catch is the other side of that scale — Downtown's roads close, viewing spots fill by sunset, and leaving after midnight takes hours. Which makes this the one night of the year where the hotel isn't where you sleep after the event. The hotel is the event: the room with the tower in the window, the countdown on the rooftop upstairs, and breakfast on the first morning of 2027 while everyone else queues for taxis.
