UAE National Day (2–3 December), bookended by Commemoration Day on 30 November, is the domestic travel peak of the year. Residents staycation at home and families drive in from across the GCC — Saudi and Omani plates fill every Palm and Saadiyat car park. Beach resorts, waterparks, and hotels with fireworks-facing rooms sell out first.

This is a book-early window, not a deal window: rates hold firm because demand is guaranteed. The value move is a Sunday or Monday check-in rather than arriving into the Wednesday–Thursday peak — and rooms with a line of sight to the National Day fireworks over Downtown or the Corniche are the scarce commodity, not rooms in general.

It also runs straight into F1 weekend in Abu Dhabi: early December is one continuous super-peak across both emirates, so the room you want at the end of November is gone by the middle of the month.
