Diwali long weekend, 6–9 November 2026 · 3 nights
The Diwali weekend — Dubai's huge Indian community and inbound festival travel.
Stays from, total for 3 nights
AED 4,399
Book two to three weeks ahead — Diwali weekend tightens fast for family suites, though standard rooms hold longer.
Diwali (8 November) turns Dubai into one of the biggest festival destinations outside India. The city's enormous Indian expat community staycations, and inbound families fly in for the long weekend — Global Village, the Diwali markets, and the fireworks pull demand into Downtown, Bur Dubai and the beach resorts alike.
It's a compressed window: a Sunday festival date means the Friday–Sunday nights spike hard while the surrounding weekdays stay reasonable. Suites and connecting rooms for extended families go first, not standard doubles.
Weather is turning perfect by early November too, so this doubles as the first proper beach weekend of the season — you're competing with sun-seekers on top of the festival crowd.
