Saudi National Day falls on Wednesday 23 September in 2026, and a midweek holiday plus the Friday–Saturday Saudi weekend means one thing: a four-to-five-day bridge, and Saudi Arabia's favourite short-haul escape is Dubai. Every National Day weekend the E311 fills with KSA plates and the Riyadh–Dubai flights sell out — family suites, connecting rooms and waterpark hotels feel it first.

Demand skews to family-scale stays: Atlantis and the waterpark resorts, JBR's apartment-style hotels, and anything with adjoining rooms. Couples and solo travellers can ride the same weekend cheaply by booking the hotels Saudi families don't chase — adult-oriented Downtown and DIFC properties barely move.
